Boys Varsity Basketball vs North Shore

The boys Varsity Basketball team upsets North Shore 33-31. In a game where defense was the main focus, it was crucial for SAR to execute on both ends of the court to pull off the win. Most of North Shores points came from All Star Forward Cody Cohen. However, it was Josh Blustein's four 3 pointers, Rafi Kubersky's layups after breaking the North Shore press that gave SAR an offensive spark. Ariel Smith and Andrew Pitkoff got into foul trouble early as reserves Reuben Major, Simon Kofman, and Ethan Freilich contributed big minutes in the win. It was an all around team effort as everyone contributed offensively and defensivly. Josh Blustein had 12 points, Rafi Kubersky had 6 points and Andrew Ptikoff had 5 points. The team moves to 2-3 as they are set to face JEC on the road on Monday, December 8th.
