JV Boys Basketball vs. RAMAZ

January 16th, 2014- SAR JV Boys Basketball defeated Ramaz, 38-23, raising its record to 8-0 and capturing a division championship.  Up 20-15 at the half, SAR held Ramaz to only 8 second half points, including an impressive 3 in the 4th quarter.  Behind a press defense, SAR raised the intensity another notch when it mattered most.  Rafi Kubersky led the Sting in scoring with 14 and Ariel Smith played a near flawless game with a combination of stellar defense and terrific passing.  Players off the bench brought tremendous energy and passion to the game.  And Eitan Hain sealed the game with clutch free throws, to go along with two 3-pointers.  Up next for SAR is a home game against Westchester Hebrew High School on 1/23.
