JV Boys Hockey vs. Ramaz

Sting Earn Big Win Behind Teigman's Two Goals

January 18th, 2014- On Saturday night, JV Boys Hockey traveled to the Upper East Side to take on Ramaz in the opening game of the Alan T Brown Foundation doubleheader. Things didn't look so great for the Sting in the beginning, as Ramaz scored an early goal. However, shortly after that, Andrew Teigman put one in the net in the opening seconds of a Power Play.  Ramaz then scored a second goal, ending the first period with a one-goal lead.
As the second period began, there were doubts about the outcome of the game. However, in the middle of the period, Teigman scored another Power Play goal to tie the game at 2.
In the third period, freshman superstar Solomon Frelich broke the tie with another Power Play goal, which gave the Sting their first lead of the game. SAR controlled the rest of the game, and were able to escape with the close win.
The Sting end their 7-3 season, and look to carry the momentum of this big win into the playoffs.
