November 18, 2013- The SAR Varsity Girls Volleyball squad swept the Kushner Cobras in straight sets, (25-23) (25-12) (25-23). Serving was the story line for the girls, as both Rachel Weintraub and Abby Epstein had streaks of seven straight serves at different points during the match! Epstein dominated at the front of the net, accumulating two huge spikes in the second set, putting the momentum in the Sting's favor. In volleyball, just like any other sport, communication on the court is vital, and the Sting seemed to be in sync during every play of the game. With great teamwork and communication comes great wins, and this team is certainly a threat nobody in the league wants to face.
