Junior Varsity Boys Basketball vs. RAMBAM

On Sunday the JV Boys Basketball Team faced Rambam Yeshiva in a road exhibition game. SAR won 52-25 in the five quarter game. They played terrific defense, and forced many turnovers leading to easy fast breaks. SAR was led in scoring by Ariel Smith's 10, Daniel Wisotky's 10, Rafi Kubersky's 8, Dovie Marcus' 7, and Michael Klein's 6. The outcome was never really in question but SAR pressed the gas pedal in the fourth quarter outscoring Rambam 15-4, and blew the game wide open to a 44-17 lead. The big men for SAR racked in tons of rebounds and drew fouls to send themselves to the free throw line. Collectively, SAR shot 8-12 from the stripe. Outside shooting was solid as well, as The Sting burried 4 three pointers. The freshmen served as a nice spark, with two of them being the leading scorers, while the third freshmen Yair Slasky provided the quick hands and crafty plays that guided SAR's early fourth quarter success. Overall a great showing by a team with high expectations, and a great team effort.
