October 30, 2013- In a highly anticipated game for this particular rivalry, SAR fell to MTA by a final score of 4-1. The final score is not well indicative of the Sting's overall play, for the score was only 2-1 heading into the final period. The Sting power play defense was very strong, especially down the stretch. However, after the penalty kill, the Sting let up a heart breaking goal to MTA, and shortly after, pulled out the goalie and gave up the dagger. The lone SAR goal was scored by Junior Sam Schwalbe. The effort is certainly there in all of the team's games, and ultimately, the goals will come. There is no doubt this team will be a force to be reckoned with come February.
